Highlighting Other Virtual Assistant Companies on Our Podcast: No, We Haven't Lost It

virtual assistant companies podcast

At Virtual Assist USA, we’re doing something that might seem a bit unconventional—we're collaborating with our competitors. And no, we haven't lost our minds! We talked to other Virtual Assistant companies on our podcast. Here’s why we believe working with our competitors is a smart move for everyone involved.

Taking On"Coopetition"

"Coopetition" is the blend of cooperation and competition. This approach has been successful in many sectors, from technology to healthcare, and we’re excited to bring it to the Virtual Assistant (VA) industry. Our Not Your Average CEO podcast interviews business owners and industry leaders to share advice not heard elsewhere.

Learning from Each Other

This season, we've had the pleasure of interviewing CEOs and COOs from other VA companies on our podcast, "Not Your Average CEO." These conversations have been incredibly insightful-- and we've heard from our audience how helpful they've been.

We talked with Bonnie Low-Kramen, the celebrated author of Be the Ultimate Assistant about what it takes to hire a Virtual Assistant. And we chatted with Laura Renner of Freedom Makers Virtual Services about the unique connection between military spouses and business owners needing support, and we talked about navigating the shared economy. We talked with Emily Reagan about high-end clients. When we spoke with Le-An Lai Lacabe of 2xYou, we dove deep into AI integration. With Amber Gray of Trusty Oak, we dove deep into getting started with a Virtual Assistant and the steps to make it successful.

We’ve shared tips for first-time delegators, discussed challenges, with AI adoption and offshoring, and brainstormed about the future. By learning from each other, we can all improve our services and better meet our clients' needs.

Increasing Industry Awareness

When companies unite to promote the value of hiring Virtual Assistants, it builds credibility and trust with potential clients. This collective effort can lead to more businesses recognizing the benefits of outsourcing tasks to VAs, thereby expanding the market for everyone.

Breaking Down Misconceptions

There’s an old-school belief that businesses must operate in isolation to succeed. Our approach to coopetition aims to break down this myth. By openly collaborating with our competitors, we’re demonstrating that success doesn’t have to be a zero-sum game. There’s enough room for everyone to thrive, and working together can lead to better outcomes for all.

Building a Community

Ultimately, our goal is to build a stronger, more interconnected VA community. By supporting each other, we create an industry that is more robust, innovative, and capable of delivering value to our clients. Collaboration creates a sense of camaraderie and collective purpose that benefits everyone.

Partnering with our competitors might seem unusual, but it’s a strategy that is already yielding positive results. By sharing knowledge, increasing industry awareness, fostering innovation, and supporting each other, we’re proving that coopetition is not just a viable approach but a smart one. At Virtual Assist USA, we’re excited about the future of Virtual Assistants and the endles possibilities in the industry.
